How our brokerage works

Every shipment follows the same four steps.

    We review the request and reply by phone or email.

  3. We arrange a carrier

    Once you accept, we arrange a motor carrier with the right equipment.

Is Ship Secure a trucking company?
No. Ship Secure Inc is a freight broker. We arrange transportation between shippers and motor carriers. We are not a motor carrier and do not act as an agent for any transportation provider.
What do you need to prepare a quote?
The pickup and delivery locations, the dates, the equipment you need and a description of the freight. Weight and dimensions help if you have them.
Will I see a price on the website straight away?
No. The form sends your request to our team. We review it and reply with a quote by phone or email.
Are transit times guaranteed?
No. The carrier sets the route and the transit time, and the times given are estimates. Our terms and conditions explain this in full.
How do carriers sign up?
Use the carrier enquiry form on the For Carriers page, or follow the link there to our carrier registration portal. Sending the form does not by itself approve a carrier.
